49G+ Programs

This nifty little program is a CHOOSE box replacement using an icon based interface. Very nice choose menus can be created in the same fashion as the built-in CHOOSE command. Simply give it a list of objects to display, and it will make the menu for you. The screenshot shows a nice example of the capabilities. It is also very quick to access as one key click will give you access to 9 objects! See the documentation for more info.

This programs allows you to change the clock speed of your 48GII or 49G+ calculator on the fly. This can let you calculate faster, save battery life, and play some older games that run too fast. (not all 3 at once though ;-) I did not write the actually programs to change the speed. I just packaged them nicely. Al Borowski wrote them, so go visit his page and send an email thanking him.

HPTran is a customizable language translator for the HP49G+. This program translates individual words into different languages. It also includes a hangman game for practice in these languages. The languages currently available are Spanish, French, and Portugese. It is very easy to create additional language archives. Features include fast world lookup, word completions, and even tranlsates into languages besides english! Read the included PDF to understand installation. Install at least one of the data files to use the program. This was made by Pedro Henrique de Oliveira Liberato and then heavily modifed by myself to include the best parts from my previous translator library.

Here is BatMAN. A battery manager for the 49g,g+. Basically it helps you keep track of how many times you've charged you rechargeable batteries. For someone like me who goes through batteries like crazy, this can be usefull. Try it out if you'd like. It's not elegant and I can make it much better, but sure =) A PDF explaning more is contained in the ZIP.

The 750 mAh AAA battereis will function perfectly well in the 49g+. They won't last as long as alkalines, but will give plenty of usage. Just watch out for quick power drain at the end. You'll get plenty of warning though.

This is a small periodic table I made for the 39g+. I wassn't going to upload it but then I thought that maybe the 48GII users might find a use for it as it only weighs ~10Kb. It isn't pretty, but it is functional. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! ;-)

Here is The Holy Bible (KJV) for the HP-49g+. Complete and finished, weighs in at a hefty 2.5 MB. Unzips to a folder called BibleHP. Install the library out of the folder, and move the folder BIB *UNALTERED* to the SD card using a card reader. THIS CANNOT BE DONE WITH CONKIT. Use a card reader! Needs Headman 9 to work. Here is the LDS Standard Works for the HP-49g+. Basically it is a frontend for the 4 programs above. Install those (about 3.4 MB in all), then if you have desire to access them all together for easier switching between books, install this library (>1K). (see readme.txt in zip file for location)
